Accenture recruited at the zonal level this year, with the offer decided on that performance. Eligibility: 60% or 6.0 CGPA, B.Tech, 2020/2021 pass-out, no gap over a year. Round 1 combined the cognitive and technical assessments in one elimination stage — 90 questions in 90 minutes. Cognitive covered quantitative aptitude, reasoning and verbal ability; technical covered MS Office and common applications, pseudo-code, and cloud and network security fundamentals. Sectional and sub-sectional cut-offs both had to be cleared. A separate coding round followed: two questions in 45 minutes (sum of odds and evens in a number, and maximum product of a multidimensional array), where solving one was enough to progress. The Pearson Versant communication assessment, about 20 minutes, came after that. Round 2 was a virtual interview with a two-member panel on the projects and basic HR questions, and the candidate was selected for Associate Software Engineer.

Tips from this drive

Clear every sectional and sub-sectional cut-off, not just the overall paper — that is what eliminated candidates at the zonal stage. Practice pseudo-code and cloud/network security basics alongside aptitude, and expect project questions plus a short communication test before the interview.
